ATWATER TWP., PORTAGE CO., Ohio (News Talk 1480 WHBC) – A woman shot dead, a search for a suspect, and two school districts on modified lockdowns.
All that happened Tuesday morning after a woman was shot numerous times at a home on Route 183 in Atwater Township.
Alice Tully later died from her injuries.
The Portage County Sheriff’s Office says a male suspect fled the scene, leading the Southeast and Waterloo School Districts to go on “soft” lockdowns.
21-year-old Travis Lovett was arrested a few hours later in the Cambridge area by state patrol troopers.
He’s now charged with aggravated murder.
